WHAT AWAITS US

Hailing from southern Finland, an exciting melodic deathcore unit What Awaits Us is ready to test the limits of this genre by bringing together a unique musical blend. 

In 2014 the band released their self-produced debut album "Awake" via Sliptrick Records which gained praise both from critics and listeners. An EP named "Anomaly" followed this up in 2018 introducing a more technical, faster and brutal side of the band's music.

What Awaits Us has delivered its energetic live shows to many venues in Finland and has also toured the Baltics.

Between 2021 and 2024, the band released three singles. These include a re-recorded and self-produced version of the song "Ascend," as well as the tracks "Remedy" and "Borderline," mixed and mastered by Buster Odeholm (Odeholm Audio / Vildhjarta / Humanity's Last Breath). 

The latest 2025 release 'Vanish into Grey' takes the listener on an introspective journey through a modern metalcore epic. Thought-provoking, melodic yet still crushingly heavy like its predecessors 'The Harbinger' and 'Hell Above', showcase the dynamic prowess of What Awaits Us and mark the beginning of a new era.

Their songs explore themes of struggle and triumph, seeking to inspire and uplift listeners through evocative storytelling and soaring melodies.To achieve their signature sound, the band collaborated with esteemed producer and mixing engineer Thomas ‘Plec’ Johansson at Panic Room Studio, ensuring a rich and polished sonic experience. Their music was further elevated by the mastering expertise of the legendary Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound, giving their tracks a pristine, powerful finish.
BLOODSTAINED HALO

Formed in 2025 in Lahti, Finland, Bloodstained Halo blends the ferocity of metalcore, the melody of melodeath, and the raw edge of hardcore into a modern, high-impact sound. Heavy riffs, emotional depth, and unrelenting energy define their music — balancing precision with pure intensity.

Rooted in Finland’s rich metal heritage but driven by a forward-thinking spirit, BSH delivers songs that hit hard and stay with you.
